Arrrrrr matey!

Birthday boy Hudson turned 4 on the 4th of July, yes, He's our yankee doodle dandy, but as you can see, on this day he was nothing more than a swash buckling pirate. Arrrrr matey (as he would say)
Captain Hudson and the crew on their pirate ship. (Given to him by Grandma Pat) AHOY THERE!
On the hunt for buried treasure...
The crew looking for the loot. Captain Hudson's holding the treasure map, He loved being the center of attention.
Don't touch me cake or I'll chop off yer head!

He was actually quite a sweet little pirate. All he wanted to do on his big day was to have a "big swimming party at Grandma and Grandpa's house" which was very easy for mom to do seeing as we have a big 4th of July swimming party at Grandma and Grandpa's house every year, so I just brought the cake. When I asked him what his favorite part of his birthday was he said, "eating my chocolate cake." Maybe next year I'll skip the decorations, the presents, the huge swimming party, the fireworks, and just get him a chocolate cake. Happy birthday Huddy buddy!

Robin,
Cassie is one of my many cousins, and through some blog hoppin, I found hers and then yours. (I should probably get a life and not spend so much time on the computer, but oh well). Your kids are very cute, and you little girl looks so tiny!

Happy Birthday to Hudson. You have adoreable, sweet kids. Liberty is so beautiful and precious. It really is SO unneccesary (sp?), the amout of money we spend on Birthday parties. The chocolate cake was what he loved most. Thats the way it always is, all the fancy stuff is for us!
See ya soon :)
